North Park Cinema: Buffalo, New York

Whenever I go anywhere, I like to look for old movie theaters to try and catch a show. One of my favorites is in Buffalo, a dazzling relic of cinematic culture lovingly restored. So fun to see movies on the giant screen here and marvel at all the glorious architectural flourishes--crystal chandeliers, murals of long-tressed women perched on a crescent moon, old stained glass, and photos of Christina Ricci and Laura Palmer in the lounge attached to the womens' bathroom.
