The Produce Station: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Zingermans (justly) gets a lot of glory, but The Produce Station, with its mix of snacks and plants, is my favorite food shop stop in Ann Arbor. Today I walked out with a five pound box of Michigan blueberries, a bottle of housemade lemonade, assorted other road snacks for the drive home to Ohio, and only avoided bringing home a glorious basil plant the size of a small tree b/c my car was already crammed with dog and child and the sandy relics of vacation glory and there was no way to make it fit.
