Seed and flower catalogs and imaginary gardening

I love my actual weed-ridden + tempermental garden deeply, but I also love my imagined garden, where there is plenty of sun and rain and everything flourishes and thrives and I am unfettered by zone recommendations and climate realities. I access it through the pages of seed and flower catalogs: Schreiners, Schneepers, Van Engelen, David Austin, Kitazawa ... the list goes on, but each one offers its visions.
