Karma Bookstore

Karma Bookstore is the books/publishing outpost of the Karma galleries, and it used to be located at the Third Street site of the lost and legendary St. Mark's Bookstore. It currently exists online and in various pop-ups, but I hope they find a way back into a brick-and-mortar space someday, because I miss it. Besides a compelling assortment of books, magazines, and artist editions, they sell a slew of beguiling (and affordable) posters from past Karma shows. I am also a fan of their in-house publications, which skew particularly beautiful + often feature writing better than the usual exhibition catalog fare (too often quagmires of jargon and academic fadspeak).
