Forget the weather—in May, I'm checking the forecast for birds. CornellLab has a fabulous set of tools tracking bird migration showing live maps, predicted migration forecasts, and local dashboards (this is how I know 429,300 birds flew across Cuyahoga County last night, and that an estimated 101,300 birds are in flight overhead right now——it's peak migration season).
