Calling All Horse Girls Magazine

Calling All Horse Girls is a print magazine charmer. Emmie (the founder + editor in chief) started it for anyone who has ever loved horses, esp. anyone who has felt left out of traditional horse culture. Each issue has a loose theme, and the stories range from profiles of equine therapists and ranch managers to explainers about various horse-y things like show jumping and dressage, and wistful, funny, memorable essays on paperback novels, toys, carousels, TV shows, songs, and clothes. It's one of those magazines that when it finds its people, it's electric—they are so, so happy.
